Pass your skills onto the next generation of cosmetologists by becoming an instructor! Fullerton College’s Instructional Techniques Program includes two lecture and three lab classes that will prepare you for a career in Cosmetology education. The program includes:
COSM 060 F and COSM 062 F: Two 16-week consecutive semesters lecture courses for California licensed cosmetologists/barbers/estheticians to complete coursework to learn instructional techniques. These courses are offered as Fall and Spring.
COSM 060LF, COSM 061LF and COSM 062LF: Three consecutive semester laboratory courses for student-instructors to complete 600 clock hours of laboratory observation in addition to the coursework in COSM 060 F and COSM 062 F.

Ready to Get Started?
Follow these steps:
1. Enroll at Fullerton College and apply to the college for a student ID.
2. Check Fullerton College’s class schedule for current add/drop dates.
3. On the first day of class, provide a copy of your current valid CA Cosmetology (or Esthetician/Barber) license and verify the required minimum three years of salon/spa experience.
